July 29th Menu



Hey ya’ll! Kroger has their Mega Event going strong this week. When you buy 5 items, you save $5 off of your order. This means it’s a great time to stock up. The two top meals we are really excited about are the Honey Rosemary Pork Chops with baked sweet potatoes and the Turkey Burger with Tomato Cucumber Salad. These meals offer so much for the taste buds! This round of shopping should cost $77 before taxes to feed your family of 4 for the week.

Breakfasts:
Omelets: Bacon, Peppers, & Mushrooms
Total Cost: $10.25

1.   Cook and crumble bacon.
2.  Heat 1 tsp of oil in pan over medium high heat.
3. Wisk 3 eggs together and pour into pan.
4. Add peppers, bacon, and other ingredients then cover until egg is cooked and cheese is melted.
5. Fold the egg and then serve.

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with Roasted Asparagus & Pasta Roni
Total Cost: $14.65
·       1 lb. of Kroger Large Shrimp, 31-40 count.

1.   Preheat oven to 350°.
2.  Cut bacon slices in half length-wise. Then wrap around shrimp and place on sheet pan. Bake until bacon is crisp.
3. Trim asparagus (cut woody parts) and wash. Toss lightly with oil, salt, and pepper. Bake until tender.
4. Follow directions on pasta box to prepare the pasta.





Pan Seared Ribeye with Potato Wedges & Salad

Use the .75/2 to make them $1.11 each (If you do all of the recipes you will also need Italian Dressing)
1.   Preheat oven to 425°.
2.  Season steak with salt and pepper. Sear in pan, then finish in oven to desired tastes.
3. Cut potatoes into wedges. Toss with salt, pepper, 1 tsp minced garlic. Place on sheet pan.
4. Toss salad.

2.  Toss chicken with seasoning and place on sheet pan. Bake until 165° internal temperature is met.
3. Cube potatoes and boil until tender in lightly salted water. Drain and mash with 4 TBLS. butter and 2 oz. of milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Toss salad.

1.   Preheat oven to 375°. Place turkey burgers on sheet pans. Season with favorite seasonings. Cook turkey burgers until they reach an internal temperature of 165°.
2.  Peel, wash, and slice cucumber. Cut tomatoes into wedges, and marinate all with Italian dressing.
3. Build sandwich to your likings.

Honey Rosemary Pork Chops with Baked Sweet Potatoes and Steamed Broccoli
Total Cost: $10.45
·       2 lbs. Kroger Assorted Pork Chops
o   On sale $1.99 lb.
·       1 head of Kroger Broccoli
o   On sale $1.49 lb.
·       4 Publix Sweet Potatoes
o   On sale 99¢ lb.
·       Fresh Rosemary
·       Honey
1.   Preheat oven to 375°.
2.  Wash sweet potatoes and place on sheet pan. Lightly salt. Bake until fluffy.
3. Stem and lightly mince 4 sprigs of Rosemary. Place pork chops in a baking pan, lightly season with salt and pepper. Top with Rosemary and 1 TBLS of honey on each pork chop. Bake until it reaches the internal temperature of 165°.
4. Cut broccoli into spears after washing. Steam, season with salt and pepper, and toss with 2 TBLS of olive oil or butter.
